Countywide Visioning Workshop Series (Year 3)

In Year 3, the County hosted a three-part public workshop series focused on establishing a shared community vision. This vision was used to develop Envision Pasco 2050 - the County's community vision plan for the 2050 planning horizon. Details for each part of the Countywide Visioning Workshop Series facilitated during 2023 is provided below while a report summarizing the input received over the course of Year 3 is found in the Downloads section of this page.


PART 1 ("Where are we now?")

The first part of the three-part public workshop series included two events focused on working with the community identify existing conditions within the unincorporated area of the County. The presentation provided to attendees and the resulting key takeaways report for part one can be found in the Downloads section of this page.



At the first public workshop, attendees learned about the Comprehensive Plan, how its contents are informed by a community vision, and heard about the issues and opportunities facing the County in the decades ahead. During the workshop, attendees also had the opportunity to provide their input on the project and the future of the County

A second public workshop ("Option B"), which covered the same material and provided the same input opportunities as the first public workshop ("Option A") in East Pasco, was held in the western portion of the County.

PART 2 ("Where do want to go?")

The second part of the three-part public workshop series included three events focused on identifying a shared community vision for the unincorporated Pasco County. The presentation provided to attendees and the resulting key takeaways report for part two can be found in the Downloads section of this page.



For Part 2 of the Public Workshop Series, attendees heard about the insights provided by the public during Part 1 and were given ample opportunities to identify their vision for the future of Pasco County.

For members of the community who are unable to attend "Countywide Workshop Series (Part 2) - Option A," a second workshop (Option B) was hosted in Land O' Lakes. Both Option A and B covered the same material and provide identical opportunities for public input.

The third and final part of the three-part public workshop series included four events where attendees help craft strategies for achieving the community vision identified in part two. The presentation provided to attendees and the resulting key takeaways report for part three can be found in the Downloads section of this page.


Option A for the third part of the Public Workshop Series for Year 3 covered the same material and provided identical opportunities for public input as Options B (August 17th) and C (August 23rd). Participants were welcome to attend the Option that was most convenient for their schedule.

However, unlike Option A and B, Option C was hosted in two locations simultaneously but still covered the same material and provided identical opportunities for public input. Participants were welcome to attend the Option and venue that was most convenient for their schedule.
